The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a kitchen and washing machine in the grandiose Palazzo Mazzarino. The location was central on a pedestrian street in the middle of old Palermo, very close to major attractions but quiet and tucked away from noise. Luca was a very welcoming host who greeted at the door, showed around, communicated easily via WhatsApp, and arranged transfers from the airport and taxi pickups from the bus terminal.
