We stayed in private quarters in an old palace right in Palermo’s old town, and it felt like living as minor nobility with a huge bedroom and dining room full of beautiful decorations. Breakfast showed up just when we wanted it, loaded with eggs, bacon, ham, cheeses, fruit, and pastries made by Paola, and with parking in a courtyard, everything nearby, and great restaurants close, we barely moved our car during the whole stay.
