Helpful host Fabrizio sent great local restaurant recommendations and arranged cheap, quick airport transportation. The apartment was clean, spacious with air conditioning in every room, a well-equipped kitchen, refrigerator, hairdryer and TV, it was quiet despite facing high walls outside. The location was central in Palermo's old town near the train station and main tourist sights but on a quiet street.
